Thanks for the info. and background.  My mind is a bit of a blur about Doyle Sr, though I now recollect that he worked with SRV.  I have the song Life By the Drop on an SRV CD..I think "Sky is Crying" CD.

Do you like Storyville?  the band that Double Trouble formed after SRV, and I think after ArcAngels.   I've never heard the ArcAngels music, but with the personnel involved, must have been great.

I agree totally about DB working with those folks.  As a matter of fact, when David posed the question to the board many moons ago, about possible band members when he first came to Austin, my number one recommendation was Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon..that would have been one terrific band, especially with Doyle on guitar.
