and darn, for a minute there i thought we were going to talk about baseball. i just read a great book called Three Nights In August, a waaaay inside look at a crucial Cards/Cubs series late season '03. nearly pitch by pitch, and a must read for any serious game-inside-the-game afficianados. fascinating stuff. i can hear Mick clicking away on Amazon.com right now ordering a dozen (cuz this month only, order 10 copies or more and get a free rabid dog).
