Icon …just a short rant, in upshot of a film…& a history…

While stringing a smoky quartz & onyx necklace for my son, I watched Seven Years in Tibet again.  What a pointless annihilation of human faultlessness and enlightenment.  The idea that one can send an army to exterminate another for real-estate & continue until all real-estate is usurped, …and little more flesh & blood is left to vanquish in ego satisfaction, & to do this in the name of one’s God & Country?

Why our politicos have allotted free reign of impunity to our most apt greed-born military acts is just so beyond my acuity, such weakness in the name of power; …to the winner goes the spoils.  The spoils....  The spoil.  What a waste.  Every so-called great nation has taken more than it’s fair share from the poor…just because it (they) could.  All the best of humanity seems fated to ruin in the hands of all the worst notions of man; …now, more than ever in the still silence of dusk, this seems to be our providence...in requiem to miracles.

In a dream I met Mother Earth in a surviving pine forest…under a waning moon sky,

& in her eyes I could see:  She knew (she knows) it could be another way.
