Interesting point about bug population and your windshield. I've worked local organic farmers into some of my commodity programs and I have to warn my clients about the possibility of "critters" in the corn. They don't seem to mind. Rarely is one corn worm responsible for ravaging much of an ear before its harvested so most folks just flick em off and cook the damn thing.Now...I'm not a corn farmer but there may be more destructive critter's they're worried about. But if you plant plants that host predatory bugs that take out the pests, then you have fewer problems. It's the fungi that I worry about because a fungal infection can be more pernicious (SP?) and also dangerous for human consumption."Corn? Great, now we can make whiskey!" - Firesign TheaterPRH
