So a lot of folks here probably knew that Levon Helm had a bad go round with cancer and lost his voice...well...he has now got his voice back, has converted a barn on his property into a performance studio and is hosting live shows at his house! That's right, you buy tickets to go see Levon play in his barn! Is that amazing or what? The whole story is amazing to me, that he got his voice back, that he's performing at his home in Woodstock...but wait it gets even better...not only is he singing and doing all this but people are going there to play in his barn with him...people like Dr. John, Elvis Costello, Allen Toussaint, Emmylou Harris, Garth Hudson, Donald Fagen, Rickie Lee Jones and the list goes on.
I mean all I can say is...
