I know this may be of little interest to most of you, but Billy Joel is playing his first ever gigs in South Africa next month. I bought tickets today.... The most expensive tickets I have ever purchased. Not bad for someone who has not brought out an album of new material since 1993. I missed CSN on their only SA tour, and I don't want to regret this one. Any other fans in the DBIS lot? Based on his DVD's, I am expecting a really good gig. He may be surprised by how many South Africans know all his music word for word. Looking forward to seeing Libertt De Vito play drums...
