So somebody sent me this book - and really - near as I can tell - it's about tribalism..(I'm on the 'Time to Go' chapter) - 'bout 1/2 way through...
republic with a k
democrat with an on (and an exorcism of crat)
This won't help us....in my arrogant opinion...
Kravitz - Vermont cheddar kicks your sorry wisconsin (whosecousin?) ass each and every time - but let's face it - we both like the cheez whiz - maybe even the nacho cheez whiz..maybe, even, the nacho cheez whiz and some habaneros...but I digress..

It's sort of a holiday - because now we don't have to watch people rip one another apart to represent us at least for the next 18 months - and, more importantly we have a new chance - that's the optismatist in me (I keep track of how many times I've been fooled by the wishywashycheezwhiz optimism that threatens to define me)...
'Are you an optismismatist?' 'Do you stop running a marathon, just to see if you've found something to be hopeful for? What about in your bedroom? Are you elderly and asian?'
But after all, it's not about a single voter...
This time...
sorry it didn't take longer....
