How can you sit, listen and really hear and interpret the meaning DB's music and really be able to separate his politics from much of his music?
Well to be honest Eric his most political and favorite album Triage was my least favorite CD. But live I really liked the songs he played from the CD. Especially Bitter Tree.
To me, this is one of the differences between a songwriter and artist versus that of someone able to string together words and music in a pop fashion.

Sprinsteen does not do a lot for me. I've thought his lyrics were very trite. I always got the impression he wrote them in 5 minutes or something. Good entertainer though
