Icon From Someone who has read the book also

Not much of the book was devoted to Dan Rather although he is brought up and for good reason. Rather pretty much snubbed Goldberg after he did an op-ed piece for the Wall Street Journal. I'm quoting from memory but Bernie called Dan before the piece was to run and let Rather know what was up. Rather's response was "Bernie we are friends yesterday today and tomorrow". After the piece ran Rather pretty much blackballed him. Bernard's who point is that there is a slant left in the evening news and then he gives many examples of it. I also read the Coulter book (actually I listened to it on tape) and liked Goldberg's (Any relation to Ian?) book better
