The other night I was watching a serial drama (which will go unnamed to avoid people thinking less of me) when I heard some jazz music being played in the background.
This music was sort of like jazz music back on DB's Secret Silken World and the type I really like. Did a search and the music comes back to a cd named Khmer by Nils Petter Molvaer. Ordered the cd and it's pretty good.
Also bought the new Bonnie Prince Billy cd (The Letting Go). It's well done as well and not as stark as his Master and Everyone cd. Though I have to say, the accompanying photograph of BPB in the cd foldout is darn right creepy. Can't find it online to share the thing though. Maybe if I get industrious I will scan it. But I doubt it. I'm getting lazy. (In the meantime, check out the youtube promotional ads for his new album. They are pretty good and funny.)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHuaJo46Pjc&mode=related&search=
