That fits. You see, as Bush & Co. seemingly feel about it, "America" is really just the stock market - a stable place to invest money by anyone, anywhere. Under this theory, whatever is best for the Corporation is what's best for America. If sending jobs to India improves shareholder value (and even if shareholders are foreign), that's fine. Gone are the days of protectionism, border security, etc. It's a whole new ball-game now. And thinking of "America" in the abstract as a stable business environment is now more paramount than anything else - I mean, protecting our soil is not so much about protecting the work force as it is about stability for investment. I think the point made above is correct and I'm not surprised it was not denied.
