Perhaps I exaggerated about Dave Grohl's talent. In fact I'll concede it was hypocritical in a sense. He is a terrific drummer, and without his intensity on his work with Nirvana the band wouldn't have been the same.I saw Nirvana live before and after the massive success of "Nevermind" and he verged on the Keith Moon category each time. I guess I had the blinders on a bit too tight watching the perfomance. The "dinosaurs" were just so intense, and with Grohl's generation gap I was a tad too easy to fire off the criticism of Dave that was in my post. So you're reply was accurate and I agree with you.
