The wind chill here for the past few days has been about -25. If some of my toes fall off due to frostbite, does that mean I've lessened my "carbon footprint"?

Some months are warmer than average, some are colder. I see no warming trend which would result in the melting of the ice caps or baby polar bears floating toward Maine. Look, just because Al Gore says we're all doomed doesn't make it so.
