IMHO  I think that David Baerwald and Crissie McCree could shape an evolutionary songwriting collaboration.  (With her infinitely stirring vocal talent and narrative songwriting) the thing Crissie lacks is db’s inimitable compositions/arrangements,

in every sense of the language, & the notion of a duet (their two contrasting voices)

~~w0w.  What does David lack that Crissie has, though?   I don’t know if a balancer exists, …perhaps a so-direct smile to alter the push-pull of the tides and the tiniest l’il hands you’ve ever seen on a lady who can play three chords and the truth well enough

to make you cry in public…even without several beers in your blood.  Not at all sure, though, if the blue planet is ready for their combined depth of access.

[access?]

Artists open doors and let people in, yes?  In their work, at least, this is what they do…& we all know db to be scary smart [most of us from the removed sense of being merely fans of the words and music, but still] & I know Crissie to be probably the deepest & most bookish chic I’ve had the honor of mincing words with, …her with a roguish wit & the delivery of a fringe school teacher.

So their combined depth of access may be a stirring-stick of far too much gravity now.  Or possibly just the right amount of gravity…and groove…& backbeat…& ire & action.

But, hey…  …there’re millions of voices…& billions of guitars…

& not as many people in our ultramodern, not so smoky, bars….
