Great title from Neil Young. Something that gets you thinking before you've even heard the record. However, I think it didn't win because the songs just weren't all that good, especially after the excellent "Prairie Wind." I think Neil often has unique ways of expressing himself in his songs, but the structure and melodies of those tunes just didn't grab me. And for me, melodic and harmonic portions of the songs are still what moves me far more than any lyric. I'm sure many do not agree.
David's music often does both the lyrics and the melodies well, and that's quite a feat.
