For anyone interested in a powerful and moving film, Half Nelson is very good.It's a film about a teacher with problems and his relationship with a 13 year old student. I have never been a huge fan of Ryan Gosling, but he completely wins you over with his acting in this film. After watching this film my opinion of him completely changed. Shareeka Epps also does a wonderful job. Oh, for another movie with bite try Sherrybaby. It's a been a while when I've sat and rooted for a character so hard while the character just keeps going down the spiral. Danny Trejo is in this movie and completely blows you away (Trejo usually plays huge old badasses and has been around a long time and spent time in prison with the likes of Ed Bunker - a now deceased writer/prisoner/actor.)
