Being sad is often the byproduct of undesireable truths, and that's
not my intention sir, but ....As to 'fer the Children': we've had 30 some years of a war on
poverty. I think the US population has doubled, or nearly so, since
it began. We've spent trillions on 'entitlements. Yet, the
percentage of the population who are said to be living in poverty
has remained steady across those 3 plus decades. Lots of other
negative social developments have grown. Children born out of
wedlock into single parent homes comes to mind.The war on poverty is a dismal failure but do we stop, and begin
teaching the poor to cut bait and fish? That kind of 'fer the
children' backfired miserably, I know first hand, and I stil see it
today.Don't be sad, continue to make a differance, however you do that.
Friends and loved ones are as good as it gets anyhow, continue to
enjoy effusively.Oh, and support Ron Paul fer President.peaceably
