I totally agree with you. We must reduce unwanted pregnancies through education (and contraception) and provide financial resources (including health insurance) and moral support to expectant mothers so they can better make an informed choice (but the key word is "choice"). Hearts and minds must be changed (and not by laws). If abortion were suddenly outlawed (or even sent back to the individual state legislatures), the rich and middle class will always find safe means to an abortion. As always, it will be the poor woman who will suffer. I hate to quote Clinton but he once said abortion should be safe, legal and rare. I don't know if he meant it but to me it sums up my stance.
