Well, hmmmmm. Tens of thousands dead, the Constitution of the United States of America subverted, innocent civilians detained without legal recourse or exported to tinpot dictatorships for interrogation and torture, a rapidly downwardly spiraling civil war, the Middle East destabilized, and tens of gazillions of your tax dollars flushed down a rat hole.

And Gore's "scandal" is that he's investing in sustainability and might make a profit without all of the aforementioned negativity.
