Boomtown was/is a great piece of music, no question; couldn’t imagine my music collection without it in it.  So best wishes to db & dr working something out together.  BUT, in my humble opinion, one of the greatest…, most genius (not to throw that word around lightly), pieces of worthy album music in the history of American rock & roll is TRIAGE.  Even if one is to remove the words, the heart of the notion, & hear it as merely an instrumental, you’d be hard pressed to find many albums more…musically inventive and funky and well-grooved, etc., etc., than TRIAGE.  I can listen to TRIAGE on a loop everyday, day in and day out, …and never get any less curious as to how the next clever track is going to sound.  & the fact that it’s probably TRIAGE that sent db behind the scenes to help other people sound better is (…as I [already] said a few weeks ago) doubtless testament to just how perfect and honest and solemn and humane and depth of soul and power tool sounds that TRIAGE is.  Far too far too much for statisticians & suits to reckon with at the time.

Well fuck ‘em, …I got my copy.  Thanx db.

If David [all due respect] were to continue in the vein he opened with TRIAGE and make albums and tour with 15 trucks of digital Quadraphonic or drop in on one of our local smaller theatre venues with 4 trucks and play, …I’d be there, not square;  …& the albums, even if he just stayed home and made them with friends and family, I would buy them…& tout them and make love to them and drink and talk and dance to them.
