Come on, Dale, are you kidding? Are you really lumping every "liberal" in with those people? I don't know a single Democrat or liberal that would support that nonsense or falls into that category.

There are wackos on both sides of the aisle, you know that, that do not represent the majority of Republicans or Democrats.

I mean what is up with you right now? That stuff is shameful, "Fuck the Troops" signs, burning a soldier in effigy, spreading shit all over a recruiting office? Are you saying you think that behavior represents the people here?

I don't think so and I know plenty of Democrats and liberals and they would find all that quite offensive.

You should also understand that there are groups out there, "dirty tricks" the Nixon boys used to call them (and Rove is a disciple), that instigate this stuff with the express purpose of making the "opposing side" look bad. They do it a lot more now than in the Nixon days believe it or not. Notice all the people holding the troop signs are masked, and there are masked people in most or all of those photos. It's commonplace to send a group of folks out to an event or stage an event where they create ugliness and or mayhem that will get blamed on "the other side."

Take Fred Phelps for example, I've never been certain he believes what he says. I have this gut feeling that Phelps organization is a "dirty tricks" operation to create a shitstorm around the "Christian values" blather. The point is to create situations to get news coverage that will polarize people from one camp or another and create general "HATE" that they hope will stimulate broad generalizations and more wacky behavior.

Are those people masked because they are really a group of "young Republicans" staging that stuff to create "photographic proof" of the "left being a bunch of assholes?"

I'd be willing to bet that's the case but you can't prove anything either way and we don't know who those cowards are because they are wearing masks. Remember during the Florida Bush-Gore recounts the Republicans sent a group of their staffers down to create havoc...but whoops...turns out they caught them on film and identified them. I'd be careful what you believe, Dale, because now more than ever in this country there are people in politics that want to sell you a hot steaming pile of shit. Seeing is no longer believing...if it ever was.
