Just back from Dallas today.  I'm not surprised your Joe Jackson show was sold out.  There were something like 2000 in attendance at the Dallas show Sunday night.  In fact they had us line up before the doors opened and the line stretched almost 2 city blocks.

This is a reunion tour with the guys from his first band in the late 70s.  I'm not too familiar with his music from that period, but the show was still fun to watch.. they had great energy.  Joe seemed at ease talking to the audience about various songs, taking time to explain many of the new ones.  And the show was basically apolitical aside from his changing one line near the end of Real Men to "kill all the Iraqis," which got a bit of a cheer in response.  I assume those cheering were taking the line in context.
