Kevin. I'm glad to see that there is something for you to grasp onto and get behind in this war - good for you. The Rove tactics seem to be working. This war was planned at least 4 years ago and long before you were worrying about the plight of the Iraqi people. So don't grandstand and claim the moral high ground in this debate. The Rove machine has finally found a rallying cry - "save the Iraqi women and children!"...and you're marching right along. The last few attempts didn't seem to hold enough water - ie. 9/11 accomplice, Bin Laden ally, nuclear proliferator, UN renegade, axis of evil.....
With that said - I hope the woman and children of Iraq can lead better lives without Saddam Hussein as their leader - the chances are pretty good. I just wonder at what price this "freedom" will come - to them and to us.
