Every time I hear someone claim (reiterate) that there is a (liberal) biased media, I think about how the business of making money works across the board.  The writers, reporters, actors & talk show hosts, the DJs, musicians, artists, designers, camerapersons, prop handlers, sound & lights & maybe even a few of the talking heads below the rank of anchorperson, the grips & the pages behind the scenes, etc., maybe they share a liberal bent to some extent…but the people controlling what ultimately goes into print and on screen or on stage ~~ those who shake the boardrooms & sign the checks & the producers & directors & editors-in-chief under their charge ~~ are all much more likely to be of a capitalist-conservative stand.   So if what we see in the media is biased, it’s biased in favor of the money-flow to the top of the heap.  & the top of the heap is corporate-government with a conservative (pious) bent and a penchant for egocentricity run amuck.  To say otherwise is to close one’s eyes to the ways of the almighty [power mongering] dollar.

& it seems the best we can hope for is just a hint of humanitarian reform, if even that, if our present hierarchy can be taken to task with any levelheaded poignancy in the next two years.  But even then, who’s gona be left running the ball after the next elections, & will humanity ever surface it’s better energies on a grand scale again?   …If it ever really has….

If it truly is JUST ABOUT the MONEY…& far too much of it is in only a few select hands on each continent, then no measure of hope will ever overcome.  Yeah, it’s a bleak outlook…but, give me a break, I’ve only had it for a couple weeks now.
