Happy Easter/Passover all!

I have two feet of snow - that's right, 2'! (30 Fahrenheit)

The mating pair of Mourning Doves that have occupied the backyard for the last few years arrived yesterday, looking thoroughly confused & wondering where all the hanging baskets of flowers they nest in went. The other birds are attacking any feeder they can find, and fights between the Cardinals and Sparrows have broken out. I haven't seen the pair of Rabbits we've had the last couple of years for three days - they usually wait for us to tramp down a path to the back of the garage before they venture out, but we did that yesterday - after the first foot fell. The Daffodils were bent over by the cold before the snow hit, and the Magnolias were in mid-bud when they got frozen, so those are shot for the year. The pear tree hasn't blossomed yet so we'll get fruit this fall. Hope springs eternal this snowy Easter...
