My deepest condolences to the families of VT students. I mourn the loss of strangers again today. It has become our human soliloquy & it’s a far-far cry from what we’d all hoped for when we birthed our heads.
& the killer was Korean, so that’s talking-point for the hate mongers. Please, lets be careful how we respond to this tragedy, people. The norm is a knee-jerk reaction to the symptom, but the means to a cure is to respond to the root of the illness: Conquest.

… So the lady in line at the Wallyworld checkout early this morning is chatter-boxing with her hoi-polloi likeness: Oh meyeyyyy, they say it’s worse than Columbine! You know…we gota get more security around the people, it’s just too dangerous anymore!!
Ain’t it lovely: A new distraction to pacify the defeated peoples & redirect their simple tendencies. Halliburton is cool…because they’re mostly American & they don’t go around shooting kids; the Capitol is okay…because they are trying real hard to make things more secure fer us. Unlike the libbies, they care! WE have to shield the good people from the crazies!! WE NEED MORE SECURITY!
No. We don’t. WE need practicable liberty. Affordable means.
Everybody’s a fine line from crazy. We’re inundated with edgy and the desire to somehow calm our nerves. & on every street there may be someone who is as close to the edge as is possible without loosing it. What keeps ‘em from tilting? Well, I’d be willing to bet the biggest thing is some sense of economic viability. Even more so than the feeling of human disconnection is the dread of being completely strapped and oppressed and without choice ~ with a heavy doubt that there’s no upside on the way. Crack-blamm-boom, if there’s no hope…then why not give in to the fury and go postal? Not my idea of a solution…but it ain’t hard to fathom. What we don’t neeeeed is more & more & more security. The end song to that kind of reaction is a high-tech police state, a science fair project from Hell, a human zoo, …living death, a zombie zone in make-up. Mister Rogers land…with a hand up all our puppet asses, & not a well-meant finger attached to a sexy partner who turns you on like joy-buzzer-rapture on a cloud nine outside loop…but a hand we’d rather not have up there, putting the squeeze on a once jovial colon with the power to breath the life outa you with derisive impunity.
More & more security is treating the symptom, like the pharmaceutical industry wants us to be okay with treating the symptoms of our ailments. The only way to treat our human socioeconomic ailment is to establish a national awareness of the hierarchal fleecing that has been taking place for far too long now & put the most benevolent of all considerate human intellectual minds at the toppermost to redefine what National Prosperity means. It won’t be easy, it’ll take a miracle, but anything less is tantamount to just giving in to end times. You put cuddly little multicolored rats in a maze, gradually starve them & zap their little feeties with jolts of painful-but-not-deadly electricity, disturb them a little, & then a little more…, & then push them over the edge of reason…. I’m willing to bet some will just give-up and lay down to die… while the others, the movers & shakers, the wound tight, the tightly wound, the regular average everyday rat-bastid joes are gona to take to cold-eyed fisticuffs and chow-down on thy neighbor.
What we need is a means to work & play … affordably. It wasn’t that long ago…when we did…work & play…affordably. What we need is to not watch our leaders commit atrocities for profit. What we need is people & trees, parents & children & everywalk
in between, & the elements of freedom. Then the vast majority of us will be okay.
Just enough security is an element of freedom. & if most of the people are getting on with something in a climate that doesn’t overtax their ability to earn a buck & get around from town to town, then the wack-jobs will be a heck of a lot easier to manage.
:O(O: Peace
