Saw the Broadway production a couple of weeks ago - although Peter Morgan (who wrote The Queen and The Last King of Scotland) takes chronological liberties and artistic license, I thought it was a great evening of theatre. Both Frank Langella as Nixon and Michael Sheen as Frost (he was Tony Blair in The Queen) will repeat their roles for the film to be directed by Ron Howard (?). There was a rumor that they'd dump Langella for Warren Beatty...really glad that didn't happen. Also, the play's director, Michael Grandage, is for my money one of the top theatre directors working today - his EVITA in London was beautifully directed and I loathe Andrew Lloyd Webber as a rule....
