Pat, I know you get your "news" filtered through Hanno'reilly...but did you even look to see how old that story is? That was LAST week and little has come of it since. And on top of that, I'm sure Hanno'reilly didn't bring up two ranking Repubs who spoke with similar language while the bombs were falling in the Balkans (not BEFORE the war like with Daschle). Here are their quotes DURING that military engagement -

Then-Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, R-Mississippi: "As a matter of fact, you know, I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning. I didn't think we had done enough in the diplomatic area."

Then House Majority Whip Rep. Tom DeLay, R-Texas: "(In the Balkans) we have a (U.S.) president I don't trust who has proven my reason for not trusting him, had no plan."

I'm sure Hanno'reilly's been foaming at the mouth over this one. Personally, I have no problem with these quotes. They're simply an opposing opinion directed at the administration in charge (political in nature, sure) - what's "news" about that?
