Are you suggesting that Bush and his administration haven't failed at diplomacy. From my viewpoint their diplomatic efforts have failed almsot completely acroos the board. Cheny, Rumsfeld, et. al. are rude, arrogant, and blatantly hawkish.

Was there any diplomacy that would have made Sadaam respond? The undeniable answer is no. Was their any dealing with the French? No they made it clear that there was no changing they're minds. They would approve no more resolutions. So when indicate he failed at Diplomacy you must be suggesting sending the inspectors in to find nothing. What does that accomplish? Again nothing. We are talking diplomacy to remove a man (Sadaam) who is now having his soldiers dress in US Uniforms and are going in an killing civilians who think they are surrendering to freedom. A man using humand shields and Mosks and hospitals as attack from zones. The only diplomacy these guys will understand is a bullet between the eyes. We will deal with the French later.
