Interesting comment about the boating factor, because the only screenplay I worked on that I ever felt remotely good about was boat-oriented. And I'm not really a boat person. It also had a "Dead Calm" element to it. I guess Messy and I do operate on some compatible wavelengths from time to time. :)But that was a long, long time ago. Now I wonder where that file is at.....And Mess--great anecdote about your Dad. I envy the connection you made. Mine's still living, in great shape, but we just don't connect on anything more than a superficial level.
