...Recorded Company Man off IFC, …mostly because of the cast…apart from Sigourney Weaver. I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it until now. Laughed my ass off from curtain to curtain, no shidt. It’s like a Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau vehicle, but funny. But WHY Sigourney Weaver, …whyyy? Was it because of the casting of Sigourney Weaver that Woody Alan went uncredited? Probably. Maybe it was just my mood & it won’t be funny again, like the time I watched Intolerable Cruelty with my father-in-law & laughed my ass off every time George Clooney was in the scene, then a few days later…watched it again without even a chuckle. Watch a Coen Bro.’s flick without a chuckle? Yeah, I know, …weird.
But this morning I was tossed-up whether to record Company Man or I Am David (2004), …& mostly I’m questioning my choice. Has anyone seen I Am David?
