Well, we initially reconnected due to the efforts of a fellow named Ken Phebus, who wanted us to do a reunion concert at his amphitheatre. That particular project didnt come together, but it got Dave and me talking again. We decided to rerecord some of the stuff from Boomtown for boring, but practical reasons. Started that process, and I for one realised in the doing that I really really missed him, both musically and personally. Apparently he had the same feeling. So we're collaborating via internet, from his studio in Kawaii to mine in Downtown LA. He was in town last week, and we had a great time. We're writing now.
