You took the words out of my mouth. I too, picked up the typo, and it's obviously Pussy, NOT Pusser.
This loudmouth is probably someone from the board's past, who is cowardly enough not to reveal his or HER true identity. And I think we all know a couple of those folks.
Anyways, here's my take on it. This man, if he is a man, is middle aged, confused about his identity, has a good degree of impotency or erectile dysfunction, and probably likes to hunt, in his case, to display his wilting tinges of masculinity.
He undoubtedly has either promiscuous leanings, or perhaps an earlier promiscuous lifestyle, has certain repressed homosexuality, hence his continued, forced assertions of his loyalty to his wife, and shouldn't we ALL be that way etc... I think Freud called it.."Homosexual Panic".
He may be a "recovering" alcoholic, or drug user, (or perhaps a current abuser), who hides in his pseudo-religiosity as a means of comfort. The religiosity of convenience. His concept of God is probably different than a lot of people on this board; I can only imagine.
He has correlated patriotism with a blind acceptance of doctrine, and this aspect of his tirades, I find the most frightening. He would not be able to comprehend that dissention and varied opinion are the threads of the complex quilt, as it were, of ideology that could strengthen this nation,not serve to destroy it.
His voice here is irritating, not because of difference of opinion, but because of the irrational and unstructured basis he uses to form those opinions. Since this is an open discussion board however, he must not be shunned, but on the same token, no-one is obliged to enter into discourse with him.
In terms of ideologies, he is a face in a vast crowd of ignorance. The same crowd, so willing from time to time, to raise the left hand in a stiff-armed salute, or burn sages at the stake.
Like a bitter wind, he will ultimately pass through our midst, whence, we can only pray (and to whatever form God takes for you ), for sunnier days.
