in Ireland a bowser is a sort of bootboy from dublin, and bootboys are sort of wayward hybrid punk-skinheads. think Boomtown Rats, apparently bowsers in Glos are being pissed in by vandals...not surely disgruntled bootboys from Dublin chagrined that their name is being sullied. though I doubt these vandals are from scandanavia, I reckon they are from Genovia
