For some reason tonight, thinking about music that provides background for getting over a heartbreak: David's 'Someday When You're Young Again', Steve Earle's 'Goodbye', Beck's 'Sea Change', David Gray's 'Lost Songs' and 'White Ladder', and of course (and I'm not kidding) Sinatra's 'Where Are You' and 'Only the Lonely'.

I sincerely hope your listening to these tunes is always a distant, academic appreciation, but if not... anyone have any contributions?
