Thanks Andrea, it was incredible.
Ray White of Frank's band was a special guest, as well as Frank himself ,appearing on the big screen for four tunes, jammin' with his boy.
Frank joined in on Montana, Cosmik Debris, Dumb All Over and Muffin Man. The live footage was stripped of everything except Frank and his guitar so the stage band could play live along with F.Z.
Otherwise the band ripped through a good mix of Frank's more "commercially" appealing numbers with a good mix of the complicated music tossed in as well. Joe's Garage, San Berdino, IL Enema Bandit, I Am The Slime, Inca Roads, City of Tiny Lights, etc.
The crowd was so appreciative, standings "O"s after each solo, even one when they first walked out.
Dweezil stayed out after the final encore and signed and shook and chatted with anyone and everyone until everyone had their shot. A rude dude beside me said to Dweezil, "It's an honor to be in the presence of someone who has been inside Frank's nuts." I think The Dweez kind of grinned.
This is no cheesey, coverband tribute show folks, it is of the highest calibre.
Fark Van Halen, see The Dweez or The Adrian Belew Power Trio.
