Don't you find them a bit humourless though? A bit too practical? They seem to be drawn to Ireland and especially areas like west Cork, as a moth to a flame, in search of laughter and light-heartedness. Bless 'em. They wear wooden shoes. And hate the Germans. And lost two world cup finals in a row with total soccer.
