I must echo the always wise, wiseguy, Ed. I've seen Bruce 35 times. Yes, literally 35 times. He was my excuse to turn down two prom requests in high school. The Darkness tour took precedence over whatever carnal delights I might have received on that night. And believe me, I needed them badly. I'll always hold him in the highest esteem, I just don't think he has anything new to say or show to me. He's still chock full of energy and integrity (and a damn fine looking man). I've never seen a better showman. Although I'm pleased he's gotten more explicit with his politics, I just don't ever need to see Born To Run, or Thunder Road, etc, in concert again. I'll certainly give "Magic" repeated listens, but I'm not expecting the religious experience that I once achieved at the alter of Bruce. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, sure would be nice. In the meantime, I'm pursuing the roads less traveled by far more obscure singers and bands.
