Here's the record shop I've been going to for years:

All the New Englanders know this place I'm sure but I'm sure every state has their own version of something like it...as MJG pointed out. I check this place out on the net once and a while:

Canadian, eh!

I love the fact that we still call them "record stores" (Obviously showing our age, Block and MJG!) even though we've gone digital. I mean there are still real record stores where vinyl is the main attraction but these are few and far between. I have not had a turntable in many years and my brother is now the keeper of the actual family record collection. He's now storing my old vinyl collection, my father's, uncle's, grandfather's, and his own. We actually went through it a bit not long ago as sort of a spin down memory lane. It was fun and man do you remember what it was like to buy a real record? The album art and notes and sometimes all kinds of extras! I had picked up the new remastered special super duper Jeff Lynne approved disc of the old ELO classic rock monster "Out of the Blue" and it had all these little bits in it like a little ELO spaceship and such. Well, my brother takes one look at and says "We gotta go back and pull out the album!" and sure enough there is the old record big as life and all that stuff like the ELO spaceship inside. Wild!

Ok...I'm geeking out I think...too much coffee this morning...
