It seems like just yesterday I was reading all these types of comments from the vast supply of liberals on this board...

- Iraqis will fight to the last man, the U.S. will be embroiled in a two-year quagmire fighting house-to-house in Baghdad.
- We are not prepared to fight a "ground war" and it will lead to thousands of American casualties.
- Even if we do fight a "ground war" we'll get bogged down if we try to enter the big cities.
- The Iraqi people would never welcome Americans. They all hate us.
- Muslims from all around the world will rally to support and fight for Iraq.
- We will kill civilians by the millions.
Hundreds of thousands of our boys will come home in body-bags.
- The war will last years.
- Our technology is not as good or as precise as we think it is.
- 100% of Iraqis voted for Saddam, therefore they will all support Saddam.
- The Iraqi regime will continue to be in control even if we get to Saddam.
- Iraq has no weapons of mass destruction.
- It will take more than 40 days just to reach Baghdad.
- Iraqis will play by the rules of war. Soldiers won't dress up as civilians. They won't "fake surrender." They won't shoot soldiers who want to surrender. They won't strap bombs to pregnant women to become suicide bombers. They won't torture and kill the POWs they capture.
- Including 600 journalists embedded with our teams is a mistake.
- The American public will never support a war with Iraq.
- Our military strategists don't know how to fight an asymmetric war.
- The United Nations will be effective .
- We'll bomb Iraq for months before we start a ground war.
- We just don't understand Iraqis.
- Iraq will be America's Vietnam, with hundreds of thousands of our boys in uniform dying.
- This war will be much, much, much longer than the Afghanistan or the First Gulf War.

Can you say "schadenfreude?"
