On a somewhat completely unrelated note, Blade Runner is being re-released this December in yet another Director's Cut. Apparently this is the edit that Ridley Scott really wanted to make way back when, and the first Director's Cut released back in the 90's was only the studio's compromise and was rushed out to cash in on the 10th anniversary of the film.I think I read somewhere that Ridley bought back the rights to the movie, so now he can do as he pleases. The ending is supposed to be true to the source novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" rather than the copout on the original 1982 release and the ambiguity of the 1992 cut.
