His tune(s) on the Heavy Metal soundtrack were both pretty cool, especially "Takin' a Ride." His solo album "Airborne" was borderline unlistenable. I have no idea why other than the fact that he apparently isn't a songwriter, at least where lyrics are involved. I would guess he's more the guy who starts the song than the guy who can finish one.
