Thanks for feedback Andrea. I was hoping you would respond. All the others that responded were newbies and have to learn a little etiquette I guess. Anyhow in reading your link I really dont think Burke would have letup had Hootie been polite and gave her the old "we'll take it into consideration". I dont believe Martha speaks for the women of America in her campaign. I've yet to hear the endorsement from the LPGA on her stance but that is another matter. For her to go after corporations supporting the Masters is ludicrous and grandstanding for not getting her way. Like I said she will have a platform as long as the press gives her one. As soon as they go away she goes away

Hootie could have circumvented this whole thing. I am not sure why everyone freaked out on the posting of your post Pat. Mud slinging is kinda how Hootie got on the hot seat, so to speak. Martha Burke has her agenda and has stuck by it wherever she feels that women are being slighted. I see nothing wrong with that just as I see nothing wrong with anyone's point of view being spouted. Though, denigration is not one of my favorites.
