my favorite Marjoe Gortner flick is The Food of the Gods (‘like ‘76-’77). It really was something…back then. I first saw it as a nickel movie in middle school. After lunch, you could opt to file into the auditorium and, for a nickel, see a cut piece of a flick that took one school week to finish ~ usually really bad blood & gore, twisted psychedelic Poe, pulp, etcetera; choices of movies probably best not to be subjecting young adolescents to, …but it was the 70s and we could take it ~ we had tea and ludes…hehe…jus kidding…& our parents were all drunk with liberty….
…he did a good evangelical Evel Knievel too…. Oh, the enduring spirit of man
