Took the kids to NYC this past summer and the tour bus went past the Dakota and I felt chills. The "what if" factor looms so heavy to me with John Lennon.

We walked through Central Park and stopped at Strawberry fields for a while. There are so many emotions that sit right on the surface of that place and it's just amazing. My kids (14 and 10) didn't get it and I'm not sure my wife realized why I was choked up. I honestly believe in my messed up heart that had John Lennon lived the landscape of music and politics would be much different today.
