Hey GM,Getting a bit of snow I see on this Sunday morning. Me too.I obviously don't have the training to adequately evaluate the question of human involvement with respect to climate change. So what to do? I look to those individuals who are considered to be the experts in the field. From the reading I've done, it would seem that the vast majority of scientists don't share the viewpoint of those signatories to the letter that you have provided. Might the majority err? Absolutely. It would however seem prudent to vigorously move forward with continued research, while enacting reasonable changes related to human behavior. I know, what's "reasonable" can differ greatly. My sense is that the dangers of not acting swiftly far exceed those of not acting at all. One other thing, in viewing the institutions related to the signatories, I noticed only a few from America's most prestigious universities. Do those experts at the top tier schools think differently?Peter T.
