I agree whole heartedly and am moving all of my money out of stocks and into safer areas. My soon to be ex financial advisor was trying to tell me how the losses had already been realized for the Home Loan debacle so I pointed out to him. Ok let's say that you are right there but you are not what is going to happen when:

The Democrats with Hillary Clinton take office and:
1. Immediately try to bring the troops home.
How will Wallstreet react to that?

2. When the recind the recent tax cuts for the evil rich
How will Wallstreet react to that?

3. When they give blanket amnesty to every illegal
How will Wallstreet react to that?

And finally when they enact the socialized medicine that Hillary so desperately
wants
How will Wallstreet react to that?

Now mind you maybe 1 or 2 of the above will really happen but it is the perception of it that causes panick. So if we are not already in the throws of a depression a year from now we will be 6 months into the next administration.

But there is hope:

He's the guy that will pull us out of the economic crapper.
