Well, in all fairness, you weren't really addressing media coverage, which is a whole other topic that stands in need of serious sorting out. I got what you were saying, and given the relative clarity of most of your posts, I'd say you pretty much always word things very carefully. (That's why I think you need to be getting paid for your writing.)

The media has always been problematic--never has there been truly objective journalism of the kind dreamers like me would like. But we have laws in this country that allow people to sue for fraudulent claims, and I'm continuously amazed that no one sues Fox or CNN. Get a little coffee spilled on you and get a burn that will go away in a couple of weeks, you can sue for a king's ransom. Find yourself mired in a political system where the allegedly objective journalists are really just an arm of a political party, in effect ruining democracy by consistently pulling the wool over the eyes of the masses . . . no remedy exists . . .

But as you said . . . nothing unusual is going on, except Ron Paul showing stronger support than anyone thought he had behind him--stronger than two of the media darlings, if polls and caucuses (and floods of donations) are to be believed.
