...Tell u what, just saw a Ridley Scott film called A Good Year (’06) that's worth a viewing if you haven't already. Yes, it’s Russell Crowe ~~ gives some folks pause, but it’s also Albert Finney & Freddie Highmore (August Rush) & others. It’s an absorbing yarn, if you can be bothered with absorption, about coming to terms with one’s memories & misled adult priorities. Not a heavy movie, just a good little love story set in southeastern France, for what that’s worth. Interresting score/soundtrack as well. But be forewarned, this flick was pummeled by the critics & bombed at the box office, so if that’s a compass you follow…steer clear of this one.
If you enjoyed anything or perhaps a lot of things about Alphonso Arau’s,
A Walk in the Clouds, then this one may be worth your while.
