I don’t know who truly defines, “The Worst Director...,” or, “The Best Director...,” but the opposite of a really bad director is a really good director, and my offering for, “Really Good Director,” is Jon Avnet. My reasoning is simple: He directed The War (1994). Anyone who could direct that particular cast through that particular bit of writing? .....Not…too…shabby. Pretty dawgone diligent endeavor there, no question.
